What the connection is
ChatApp asks the account owner to pair a web session using a short-lived QR or code. The product then exposes normalized connection, messaging and receipt states through its own gateway.
Read what an unofficial linked-device connection means before pairing a customer-controlled account or buying a plan.

WhatsApp can log out a linked device, restrict an account or change behavior without coordinating with ChatApp. Re-pairing may be required.
The customer owns the account, pairing action, recipient consent, message content, campaign purpose and acceptable use.
ChatApp does not claim official Meta approval, guaranteed delivery, a ban-proof account or uninterrupted compatibility.
Linked-device material stays in a restricted gateway database. QR data is short-lived and excluded from product storage, analytics and backups outside the gateway database.
The product contract supports replaceable adapters, but a future engine can require new pairing or credential migration. There is no automatic fallback in release one.
Use self-controlled or explicitly opted-in recipients for initial testing. Review the acceptable-use policy before importing contacts or scheduling campaigns.
